WADIUS SALAAM - NAJAF

Wadi-us-Salaam is the largest cemetery of the world. It is located  in the city of Najaf, Iraq. The meaning of Wadi -us- Salaam is the " Valley of Peace". It is Islamic cemetery and  contains more than 6 million bodies. There are many prominent  persons buried here  There is Tomb  of  the prophets Hazrat HUD (a.s) and Hazrat Salih (a.s )

HAZRAT IMAM Ali (AS) SHRINE


The Hazrat Imām Alī (AS) Holy Shrine is located in Najaf, Iraq. It is also known as Masjid Ali or the Mosque of 'Alī, It is the third holiest site for some of the estimated 200 million followers of the Shia branch of Islam. 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, the cousin of Holy Prophet Harat Muhammad (PBUH) is buried here. According to Shi'a belief buried next to Hazrat Imam Ali within same Zarih  in this mosque are the remains of Adam and Noah. Each year millions of pilgrims visit the Shrine and pay tribute to Imam Ali.
